An approved trade account is what turns a quote into terms. Open it before the coffee is ready rather than during loading.
Do I need a trade account to buy?
Not to buy prepaid. You need one to buy on terms — net 30 on pallet orders, or open account at container scale — and to have documentation, credit and banking settled in advance rather than negotiated while a container waits.

What do you need from me?
Company identity and registration, the trading entity that will contract, banking details for settlement, two trade references, and — for US importers — confirmation of your FDA registration and who your FSVP qualified individual is.
We confirm the expected approval time when your application arrives. Nothing here is unusual for the green trade; having it ready simply removes it from the critical path later.
