What exactly is being offered?
300 metric tons of green Coffea canephora from the 2027 harvest, grown by the Carvalho Beans cooperative in Taquaruçu do Norte, Mato Grosso, and milled at origin. That is 5,000 bags of 60 kg, or roughly 15 to 18 twenty-foot containers.

Harvest and delivery timeline
From flowering to your warehouse. Dates that depend on the season are confirmed in writing with each reserved buyer rather than guessed here — a delivery window a buyer plans around has to be a real one.

The crop sets with the first rains of the wet season. This is where the size of the harvest is broadly determined.

Cherry fills and ripens through the wet season. Crop estimates firm up during this window.

Picking through the dry season, delivered to the cooperative receiving point.

Patio drying, then hulling, screening and density separation to export specification.

Lot-by-lot analysis and cupping. This is when the specification columns on the offerings page fill in.

What does reserving allocation actually commit me to?
Nothing binding on its own. A reservation records your interest in a volume and a delivery window and puts you ahead of unreserved buyers when contracts are drawn. It is not a purchase, not a price fix, and not a contract — those come later and in writing.
Stating this plainly is deliberate. A reservation form that quietly reads as a commitment produces a signature and then an argument, and neither party wants the second one.

Pre-shipment samples
Samples are drawn from the actual lots rather than from a representative bag, and shipped to reserved buyers for approval before loading. Approving the pre-shipment sample is normally the last step before the coffee is stuffed.
Sample size per lot and the dispatch date are confirmed in writing with each reserved buyer.
